From Donation to Transformation
Opportunity International AgFinance's mission is to help smallholder farmers grow more and earn more. Your donations directly impact this work – this is how.
Every dollar you give grows 10x.
Your support doesn’t just fund one farm or one family. It fuels an entire ecosystem of impact – leveraging your gift to unlock ten times more in loans for hardworking smallholder farmers.
Our Model: Empowering Farmers to End Poverty
Opportunity AgFinance helps farmers transform subsistence plots into thriving, income-generating businesses. We empower smallholder farmers to grow more and earn more. Farmers choose how to use the tools, training, and financial services we help provide, creating lasting change for themselves and their communities.

How Your Donation Works – A Timeline
Step 1: You Give
Your donation builds the foundation: developing financial products, training programs, and digital tools that farmers and partners need.
Step 2: We Equip Local Financial Partners
Financial institutions receive training, resources, and technical expertise to sustainably lend to farmers.
Step 3: Partners Multiply Your Gift
For every $1 donated, partners are able to loan $10 to farmers, providing the working capital needed for seeds, fertilizer, equipment, and more.
Step 4: Farmers Invest in Their Farms
Farmers choose how to grow – planting more, improving soil, or diversifying crops. With Farmer Support Agents by their side, they boost yields and incomes.
Step 5: Communities Thrive
With stronger farms come stronger households. Families can afford school fees, healthcare, and reinvestment into their land, ultimately breaking the cycle of poverty.
